Tettenhall, WV6 8LE
Mr Simon D Hobbs is a specialist Consultant Vascular Surgeon trained in using the latest ultrasound technology to provide a detailed assessment and minimally invasive, local anaesthetic techniques to treat varicose veins and thread veins. He believes that the majority of varicose veins and thread veins can be treated with minimally invasive, state of the art techniques, under local anaesthetic as a walk-in, walk-out procedure with little downtime.
Mr Hobbs focuses on the use of duplex ultrasound to accurately assess the anatomy and function of the veins, especially the deeper "feeder" veins, ensuring that tailored, individualised treatment plans can be recommended with optimum results.

I have known Simon since he was a Junior trainee and I have seen him progress through training to the Consultant he is now. He was and always has been an impressive surgeon with an excellent manner and superb surgical technique. I follow him still and am impressed with the cosmetic outcomes that he achieves from his venous procedures

Simon is one of the leading surgeons in the field of vascular surgery and, in particular, in venous disease. He has kind and caring patient centered approach. In addition to enjoying wide recognition as an expert in the management of varicose veins and their complications he is also respected for his skills in managing arterial disease and as a clinical leader. It is a pleasure to recommend his practice.
