His expertise is unparalleled. He quite literally saved my life. A man of few words, but the words he speaks count. A rare gift indeed. His surgery skills are legendary.

Simon is an extraordinarily talented, yet modest, surgeon and consultant. He was very good at answering my many questions, as well as explaining what the procedure entailed and the recovery process thereafter. Simon closely monitored my recovery, personally checking on me nearly every day following surgery. The HPB team at the Cleveland Clinic are world class and the consultants all support each other and their patients effectively.

Mr. Atkinson was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable and made sure that I understood everything that was going on. He is very kind and made sure I was well taken care of. He even came to see me every single day while I was in recovery just to make sure I was progressing well. I can't thank him enough for getting me through a difficult scary time in my life.

Great surgeon. Explains everything thoroughly and genuinely cares for his patients. He is also conservative and considerate in his approach and will ensure that all avenues are exhausted before deciding on a course of action. Top class experience under his care.

Mr Atkinson's bedside manner is second to none, from the initial consultation, to the operation itself, he explained everything, listened to my concerns, provided reassurance and I felt I could trust him completely. The procedure itself went without a problem, which meant that I had a speedy recovery after that.

Dr. Atkinson set up blood work and an MRI quickly and then walked through a clear explanation of what concerns he had about my gallbladder. I appreciate the timeliness and professionalism. Thank you!
