Mr Shadi Ghali

Mr Shadi Ghali is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with several years of specialist clinical experience in Reconstructive and Breast Surgery. He currently sees private patients at the following locations:

• Lister Hospital
• Spire Harpenden Hospital
• Highgate Private Hospital
• Bishops Wood Hospital
• Royal Free Hospital

Mr Ghali graduated with his MBBS degree from the University of London in 1998, after which he completed his basic training in London. He later completed further postgraduate training internationally in the USA and Sweden. During his time in the United States, he trained at the Anderson Cancer Centre and completed a fellowship in Microvascular Reconstruction. After this, Mr Ghali also gained experience and expertise in reconstructive surgery for oncology during his training in Akademikliniken, Sweden. This training helped adopt a holistic approach to his reconstructive surgical practice.

Upon completion of his training, Mr Ghali was appointed Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital. In this position developed a surgical lymphoedema management service, alongside the current vascular service and breast reconstruction service.

Outside of his clinical work, Mr Ghali is also a member of the teaching faculty at University College London's Plastic Surgery Master's program. In this role, Mr Ghali, is actively involved in teaching and training trainee plastic surgeons.
