    About

Mr Richard Slater is a Consultant General Surgeon specialising in Lower GI and Colorectal Surgery at Thornbury Hospital and Rotherham General Hospital. He completed his medical degree at Nottingham Medical School, University of Nottingham in 1993 and became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in 1998. His surgical training was completed in centres across Leeds, Nottingham and Sheffield. He also spent two years of full time research on colorectal cancer liver metastases, after which he was awarded an MD.
