Excellent experience. Mr Menezes immediately put me at ease and reassured me when I was quite anxious about my health. Following initial consultation Mr Menezes’ team were excellent in getting me booked in, prepared and ready to go. The hospital staff and nurses were excellent, kind and helpful and follow up care brilliant when I had few issues with a dressing. All in all, as good an experience as I could have hoped for!

I was expecting some sort of pain even though the Doctor said I would not and he was right, not me. I can only describe the sensation as uncomfortable at times and not all the time, I still cannot believe it! I had constant low-level pain in the lower left side of abdomen and was referred by my GP for an ultrasound, which detected a hernia. I was then referred to Mr Menezes for treatment. However, a follow-up MRI showed no signs of the hernia. Mr Menezes clearly explained my options and answered my many questions. I underwent surgery with Mr Menezes, where he located and fixed my elusive hernia. I don't think I realised how much the pain had been affecting me and it is lovely that that has now gone! I have a small scar that looks very neat and has healed well so far (not quite 4 weeks since the op). I felt well informed and reassured at every step of the procedure.
