From the 1st time I saw Mr Basu I have always felt in very good hands, the news he has had to give to me wasn’t the best but he fully explained my diagnosis in a way I could understand and has always answered all the questions I ask him.

From our very first meeting Mr Basu has been excellent. He took time to listen to my concerns, arranged immediately for follow up imaging, explained my diagnosis in simple terms as and when more information came through, and patiently explained my options. He is a very talented surgeon. I have had two operations performed by him and have had no issues with either of them. Very neat scars and effective reconstruction.

Mr Basu is an extremely caring and patient doctor. I saw him when I had already been diagnosed with breast cancer through the NHS. He took the time to explain my diagnosis and treatment options to me and helped to find an oncologist who has also been amazing. I had a double mastectomy and have been really pleased with the results. As well as being a caring and compassionate doctor he is also a very skilled surgeon.
