Mr Mohammed Ali Yaqoob is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon working in both NHS and Private settings. His training and practice includes General Orthopaedics/Trauma. Prior to his Consultant appointment, Mr Yaqoob had gained international experience in being the Lead Trauma surgeon in a field hospital in an earthquake zone. He has a specialist interest in Hip and knee replacements and has undertaken a fellowship in complex knee replacement surgery in Nottingham.

Mr Yaqoob has had the privilege and opportunity to commence Robotic Navigation assisted Knee replacement surgery at the BMI Werndale hospital. This innovative technology allows the surgeon to accurately position the replacement and to obtain soft tissue balancing so as to optimise function and achieve long term relief of pain. It is hoped his practice will also include Robotic navigation assisted Hip replacements in the near future at BMI Werndale Hospital.
