The bedside manner was one of the best I’ve experienced so far - I was extremely nervous going into a rather daunting procedure but he made sure to clear up any concerns and assured me that I’d be in good hands throughout, and he delivered as promised. I am very pleased with the outcome functionally and aesthetically, the experience did not fall short of my hopes and expectations.

I can’t recommend Mr Manisali highly enough. I (M 34) came to him with a deviated septum, dorsal hump, and desire to address both without disrupting the rest of my facial balance. From the off, Mr Manisali made me feel listened to (with an exceptionally friendly and good humoured bedside manner) and focused on a tailored plan to give me my perfect nose, not just a perfect nose. I say “not just a perfect nose” because my one concern with surgery is that I might achieve a result that looked like it belonged to another face not my own. Thankfully Mr Manisali heard every concern (could I lose the hump from my side profile without my nose looking too much wider from the front? etc) and clearly articulated what we would be able to achieve with surgery. I’m now five weeks post-op with the straight nose I’ve always wanted and crystal clear breathing. I expected a bit of anxiety after the cast came off (as you’re obviously quite swollen) but Mr Manisali clearly explained how the healing process would unfold, so there’s been none. I’ve still got a few months before I’ll see the final result but I already absolutely love it and am beyond thrilled to have had the procedure carried out. If you’re considering rhinoplasty and you want a highly skilled surgeon who will take time and genuine care giving you the best result possible, go to Mr Manisali.

I went with Dr Manisali for a procedure I needed because I found him on Google and his office was near mine. And I am so glad I made the choice I did as Dr Manisali was fantastic. He was extremely personable and understanding in our initial meeting. He explained things to me so I understood them, and advised what I should get. He was generally just a super guy to speak with. At the hospital, he came and saw me. HE was very clear about what would happen and how it would happen and he generally made me feel very comfortable, before, during and after. Mr. Manisali performed a sliding genioplasty (or osseous genioplasty) on my "weak" or small chin, doing only some minor and subtle adjustments to bring my face back into balance, giving me a natural, feminine look... and I could not be happier. I had struggled with three different silastic chin implants and revision surgeries across a 20 year period of time. It was time for a beautifully-done, permanent solution such as this procedure offers. After consults with some of the best-known surgeons in the world for this procedure, I chose Mr. Manisali for his carefully-considered treatment plan, his bedside manner, and his vast experience, including emergency room/post emergency work, fixing those with (sadly) the truly out-of-balance faces! We carefully discussed and planned out our objectives TOGETHER, and he listened carefully and offered his expertise and an artistic eye which took into consideration every aspect of my face (including dealing with residual scar tissue from the previous surgeries and annoying dimpling of tissues which could now be addressed through the operation). From start to finish, it was a "perfect" experience from a medical AND aesthetic standpoint. The 1-night Parkside Private hospital stay was lovely and for this American lady, it was quite an unusual offering when most American cosmetic surgeons send you home "out of it" the same day. Though cosmetic surgery is certainly a luxury, the fees were not outrageous in comparison to some other quotes I had received. And what I received in exchange (improved self-confidence, no more chin surgeries, a specialist's eye, the super night in the hospital, etc.) represented a tremendous value. Not to mention, Mr. Manisali's medical secretary was excellent. I came from abroad to London just for the surgery and his assistant ensured everything went smoothly for me there. Mr. Manisali ensured that though we had consulted online first, much of the groundwork was already in place for this to be an ideal outcome. He was meticulous in his attention to detail, in analyzing my CT scans. He was very specific and clear with me as to the amount of modification and the risks, etc. Very pleased!

I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Manisali. He ensured that I fully understood my procedure and went over and above in follow-up care. He is sensitive to his patients needs and is completely focused on providing the best outcome.

I spent a great deal of time carrying out research. Over a period of years, not months, I spoke to various senior medical professionals, and time and time again the name Mehmet Manisali would be mentioned. I did my homework, I asked the right people. I did not rely on glossy magazines, social media or celebrity endorsements to inform my decision. Having rhinoplasty is ‘meant’ to be once in a lifetime. During my research I discovered some senior consultants advertise their work, putting before and after photos online. It appears that these same consultants who specialise in rhinoplasty and nothing else have a preference for a particular shape and many of their patients have the same result. Immediately, I was able to rule out working with these surgeons. I saw two other consultants before I met Mr Manisali and I liaised with their secretaries. This is a something that should not be overlooked. If you're anxious over something and you're dealing with a secretary who is abrupt or flippant, remember it is this same person you'll be dealing with post surgery. Naturally I was concerned that I was able to communicate my wishes clearly. I knew from our first meeting this gentleman, Mr Manisali would be a consultant I could trust. He has the ability to put one at ease within minutes of meeting. He has a very gentle manner, he is friendly and smiley and so incredibly lovely. More importantly he listens, he wants to give you the result you want, not what he wants. He expected me to commit to seeing him several times prior to surgery. I was impressed by this, especially when I compared this to other surgeons who arranged just an hour for consultation. You can absolutely not communicate all your thoughts, feelings and wishes about something as important as this in just an hour. You need time to discuss preferences, concerns and most importantly expectations. We must have spent in total 4hrs+ discussing the outcome. Pre-Op was carried out by lovely nurses, both of which told me I had made the right decision; Mr Manisali was in their opinion, the best. His reputation within his field of expertise is widely acknowledged. I went into surgery knowing I had done all I could to communicate my desired result. My expectations were realistic and I knew that a better surgeon did not exist. In the words of hospital staff, he is ‘the best’. You should always do your own homework, but in this case, I can honestly say I’ve done it for you. I feel so privileged to have met this incredible man and to have a nose that is the closest to perfection. Actually I will correct that, in my mind the result is perfect.

I had the best experience all throughout my surgery, not once did I feel unsure or uncomfortable. Mr Manisali met with me several times before my operation to make sure we were both fully on the same page, and I think this was the most crucial thing in ensuring I was completely satisfied with my end result. I am over the moon with my results, and have been since the first day I got my cast off.
