Mr Ketan Gajjar is a Consultant Gynaecologist currently based at the private practices BMI The Park Hospital and Spire Nottingham Hospital. His current post is Nottingham University Hospitals Trust. Mr Gaijar sub-specialises in gynaecological cancer surgery (gynaecological oncology) and general gynaecology. His expertise is in open and keyhole surgery in managing gynaecological cancers. His other interests are managing cervical cancer and pre-cancer including colposcopy. He also offers diagnostics services such as hysteroscopy for women with menstrual problems such as post-menopausal and peri-menopausal bleeding.

Mr Gaijar qualified in Medicine with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees from M.S. University, Baroda, India 1999. He received higher training in managing gynaecological cancers from Cambridge University Hospitals and worked there briefly as a consultant before moving to Nottingham. He received specialist training via ESGO fellowship for surgical treatment of advanced ovarian cancer with ultra-radical cytoreductive surgery approach.

In addition, Mr Gaijar is interested in research regarding mucinous ovarian tumor, spectroscopy-based diagnosis of cancer and pre-cancer and epigenetics of endometrial cancer. He has many professional publications.
