Mr. Kapil Kumar has it all--empathy, expertise, patience and sound judgement. He does not trivialise any concerns and considers what the patient has to say. After a fall on my shoulder, it was x-rayed at ARI and showed no breaks. I was still in pain after a few weeks. I, therefore, visited Mr. Kumar , who arranged an MRI, which showed a complete tear to one tendon and a partial tear to another. He performed an Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair successfully, after giving a full explanation of what was involved in the operation and recovery. I am now undergoing physiotherapy and have regained a good range of movement in the arm. I highly recommend Mr. Kumar for any shoulder problem.

Having had no help from my local GP I asked for a referral for private care and I was referred to Mr Kumar. From the first appointment Mr Kumar was thorough in his investigation whilst fully explaining the issues with my shoulder and the best treatment plan for myself. I elected to follow Mr Kumar's advice and scheduled surgery. The day of the surgery it was again explained fully what was going to happen and what the expected recovery would be. The surgery itself went as planned and I was discharged the same day. Follow up physio was scheduled along with a further consultation with Mr Kumar. My recovery has went very well and my shoulder has seen a huge improvement in regards to range of movement and pain when moving. I would thoroughly recommend speaking with Mr Kumar if you have issues with a shoulder.

I was recommended to Mr Kumar by a former colleague. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable with regard to upper limb problems. He gave me an excellent and thorough examination, a clear diagnosis together with an explanation of my problems and a suggested treatment plan which involved firstly a decompression of my left shoulder and latterly the repair of a small rotator cuff tear in my right shoulder. Both operations were performed to a high standard and I was advised regarding after care and suitable exercises. My recovery following both surgeries has been without problems and I now have an excellent range of movement in both shoulders. I have been seen by Mr Kumar for follow-up appointments after each surgery and I know I can contact him should I have any future problems. I would recommend Mr Kumar to anyone who has need of an upper limb orthopaedic surgeon.

Mr Kumar has operated on both my shoulders now and I would (and do often) highly recommend him to anyone who requires similar surgery. Well done and thanks again.
Thanks for your kind words. Best wishes

Mr Kumar performed an arthroscopic rotator cuff repair to my shoulder, three months ago. I could not be more pleased with the result. I already have a full range of movement and am working on increasing the strength with intensive physio. From the first consultation, Mr Kumar thoroughly explained the procedure and likely outcome and I felt confident that I was in the best hands for the operation. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Kumar.

Mr Kumar did a replacement shoulder joint for me, it was a stunning success. I regained complete mobility and the pain keeping me awake was gone. I followed his and his teams advice to the letter and did all the physiotherapy I am convinced this helped a lot too. The combined effect was far more than I had dare hope for. I was in and out of hospital in 2 days and recovery was pain free and fast. Very professional yet down to earth and practical. Mr Kumar and his team get the highest recommendation from me.
Thanks for your kind comments. I am pleased to know that your new shoulder is functioning well.
