Mr Hamann is a Consultant ENT and Thyroid Surgeon. He is experienced in carrying out a wide range of procedures on the ear, nose, throat and neck and manage all general ENT conditions. He has a specialist interest in problems of the nose and sinuses, allergy, voice disorders, children’s ENT problems, thyroid cancer and snoring.
He has an NHS practice that is based in Tunbridge Wells Hospital, he also has outpatient clinics in Maidstone and is an honorary consultant at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. His private practice is based at the Spire and Nuffield Hospitals in Tunbridge Wells.
He has been a qualified doctor for 18 years, of which 14 years have been exclusively as an ENT surgeon. During this time he has undertaken thousands of ENT operations, from routine operations to complex and revision surgery.Â

We contacted Mr Hamann in early 2019 as my 2 year old daughter was suffering with repeated bouts of Tonsillitis and her 2-year review had highlighted some problems with speech delay. She was also experiencing some issues with Sleep Apnea. After a period of observation, Mr Hamann recommended an Adenoid Tonsillectomy procedure (with grommets) to address these issues. Mr Hamann and his assistant Natalie were extremely helpful and supportive throughout the whole process and I would not hesitate to recommend to any parent experiencing similar problems. My daughter's health has improved dramatically since her surgery and people regularly comment on how well she looks and how much improved her speech has become. A big thank you to you both.
