Mr Dyer specialises in urological oncology with a specialist interest in prostate cancer and robotic surgery. Mr Dyer has worked as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust since 2009.Â
Mr Dyer studied biochemistry and pharmacology before entering medical training at the University of Southampton. He graduated with two degrees in 1994. He undertook his higher specialist training in Urology in the Wessex Deanery. Having gained considerable experience in all aspects of urological practice, he ventured to Australia for a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery. He also undertook additional specialist training in advanced laparoscopy in Ohio. He has built on this wealth of experience and introduced robotic surgery to his practice in 2015.
He completed a Medical Doctorate in 2007.Â
Mr Dyer is accomplished in all areas of general urology including benign and malignant prostate conditions, peno-scrotal surgery and erectile dysfunction. Nevertheless the majority of his practice centres around prostate cancer diagnostics and robotic prostatectomy
