My experience with Mr Gill has been very positive. He is professional, approachable with a friendly manner. I was concerned about my ankle recovery but he explained everything in great detail plus what might happen in the future. We had loads of questions which he answered honestly he doesn't sugar coat anything. The consultation definitely allayed my fears and concerns.

At the initial appointment Mr Gill explained clearly what he thought the problem with my foot was and sent me off for an MRI which confirmed his diagnosis. I was promptly and efficiently booked in for a procedure under sedation within a week or two. The experience at the New Victoria Day unit was good and I was discharged within a few hours of arrival. A week later I now have no pain and swelling at all in my foot which previously had been very painful. The referral to a podiatrist for gait analysis will hopefully prevent or reduce the chance of future problems. Thanks to all involved.

He was very patient and took time to explain things clearly. Quick to respond to written queries as well. Bedside manner very reassuring as was the after care explaining how and when he’d be available if there were problems, and also whom in his stead when he was not available.

Mr Gill was clear in spelling out to me the probability of the surgery resolving the problem of pain in my foot on long walks, and any other risks. The procedure went really well, recovery has been almost pain free, and I am now walking 5 miles without a twinge, which was not the case before.

Pleasant, efficient and gives as much information as possible so that I, the patient, could come to a decision about further action.

Thank you for seeing me. I am doing the recommended exercise, so will see how that progresses in the interim, before deciding on the surgical option.
