Top feedback

“Previous cataract surgery 6 yrs ago. with excellent results. attended for second eye cataract surgery recently. i was very reassured to be able to have continuation by the same consultant. Having my medical history and previous notes to hand on the initial visit made this consultation more personal and reassuring .I was anxious on this occasion as the episode of blurred vision for several days following surgery six years ago made me apprehensive on deciding to persue surgery on the other eye ..All completed with excellent immediate clear vision this time. Thankyou so much. “

I felt totally confident throughout both consultations and the quite lengthy (75 minutes) theatre procedure, which was undertaken with minimum discomfort. It was particularly good to get a call at home from Mr Sherafat the morning after. The procedure has improved my vision just as Mr Sherafat predicted. A good experience.

Mr Sherafat examined my eyes, explained in great detail the need for and the procedure for cataract surgery. He answered all of my questions and arranged for the procedure to be carried out in the New Victoria hospital. The procedure was carried very professionally in an timely manner. I recovered very quickly and found that my sight was much improved, such that I am quite delighted with the result.

Mr Sherafat was charming and reassuring and completely understood my nervousness. When I requested sedation he immediately agreed and this ensured my confidence during the procedure. It turned out that had nothing to be anxious about and the operations were quick and painless just as he told me they would be.
