Well, what a lovely gentleman indeed. Explained my scan with clarity & the way forward if l should decide to proceed with surgery. He has given me the information l was searching for that other consultants couldn’t/wouldn’t. Report of meeting received the same day. I now have to take time to decide what to do, but l have full confidence in Mr Tytherleigh-Strong.

Dealing with my situation could not have been better. Choices were clearly explained as we're possible plus and minus outcomes. I was reassured that previous anaesthetic difficulties could be avoided and indeed they were. I felt no pressure about choices and respected as an individual. 4 weeks today after the operation I can feel the benefits and feel lucky to have found him and therefore avoiding a full shoulder replacement as the only offer by 2 other hospitals. This is the second shoulder to be treated in this way and the first was also instead of a replacement and highly successful. I am in no doubt this is going to be a similar result. I am very grateful.

Immediately understood my anxieties surrounding the injuries and shared my aspirations of a return to physical activity. Quickly diagnosed the problem 100% accurately and devised the speediest route to remedy. Completed two very high quality surgeries (even remarked on by other medical professionals). Both recoveries and outcomes exceeded what I had imagined. Dedicated to seeing the job through to the very end. Excellent reputation nationally is absolutely warranted. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Graham Tyerleigh-Strong is a leading orthopaedic and upper limb surgeon. He has a well deserved reputation for undertaking complex shoulder surgery and stabilisations with great success. We have shared cases that cross from shoulder to chest including complex cancers and trauma. We have worked together on the challenging and potentially risky correction of posterior displaced manubrio-clavicular fractures when the major neck vessels are at risk of injury. Many years ago I was also his patient and can personally attest to his excellent care and straightforward approach. I made a great recovery. He is also a well known teacher and researcher and recives many professional visitors.
