Mr Muir has a great bedside manner, he explained clearly and thoroughly what was happening and was incredibly helpful
thank you very much
4.5
Initial consultation: Clear explanation upfront of the condition, and why he was recommending the treatment that he was. Clear explanation of the operation, result expected and possible complications. Efficient, clear, and reassuring. Operation: Extremely efficient, no pain (except discomfort during local anaesthetics), all staff were extremely reassuring and supportive. Aftercare: Highly responsive when I needed post-op advice due to minor bleeding. Only issue was a lack of written information on post-op care. I remembered the key details, and I'm confident his office would have provided written information if I had requested it. Results: Very happy with the results. No complications.
So sorry as I thought we had given you our practice specific information well before the operation. Its essential every man gets personal information before surgery and I will ensure we dont miss this in the future. Glad all went well.

An excellent surgeon, calm, considered, skilled and kind - and with a good sense of humour. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team (who are equally excellent), or using his services again.
Thank you so much. Hope all ends well.

It was a blessing meeting with Dr Muir. Greenlight surgery was a full success. No side effects after the first 1 month and 1/2 as promised. Dr Muir delivered. I am most grateful for the job he did and would strongly recommend him.

Very competent, efficient, empathetic and attentive. Gordon explains everything well and was very swift and highly professional. Besides that he has a good sense of humour putting me at ease with procedures unknown to me.
Thanks. Even with these problems we need to maintain a sense of humour!

Mr Muir made a potentially stressful procedure (therapeutic circumcision) very smooth. Before the surgery he patiently explained what would happen in detail and answered my many questions. He carried out the actual surgery shortly thereafter which was expertly done and fairly pain free afterwards. I am happy with the results and as predicted am very glad I had it done.
I am delighted it went so well, as it always should

Mr Muir explained my options clearly and he and his team provided a great, reassuring service even though I was quite nervous. I’d highly recommend him to others.
Its an embarrassing problem for some men so I am delighted you are happy

Mr Muir was calm, authoritative and explained what would happen during the procedure. The procedure did not produce instant results but he explained what was needed, prescribed a tablet to bring forward the improvements in my health and his treatment worked. I am very happy with the outcome as I now have a normally functioning bladder which does not require me to frequently empty it at short notice. Life is much more comfortable as a result.
Glad its going well
