Dr Georgios Orfaniotis is an outstandingly sensitive and understanding person, which translates into an incredible surgical skill. With a team of organised and caring people supporting his work, the entire process could not have been anymore rewarding as a patient. I am for the first time, truly confident and at peace with my facial appearance, to the point now where I'm not even having to think or worry about how I look anymore. I smile more than I ever have and accept positivity for myself without doubt. As the review only allows you to choose one procedure, I should state that Dr Orfaniotis performed a lip lift, liposuction to my jaw/chin and abdomen area, then fat grafting using this fat to my cheeks and temples. The idea was to balance my lip size and evenness, and improve the proportions of my face by reducing prominence below the chin, and increase definition in the upper face. Overall these procedures have made me look younger and more feminine, have improved my smile and tooth display, and significantly balanced my lip size and shape. To give some history to my particular complex situation - I have had previous extensive facial surgery to address bone proportions and features (forehead, nose, chin, hairline & hair loss) and although completely successful, I'd never achieved contentment with my face as a whole, or felt like I ever looked my age. Even as far as just never feeling "pretty", whatever that may mean to an individual. I take great care of my health, skin and hair, and when your face doesn't reflect this in any way, your personality can start to feel a bit wasted. Sad though that is in the grand scheme of things, that's just my experience. I'd had lip fillers for several years in my early 20s which had migrated and then been dissolved years after. This had left already quite thin and uneven lips looking worse than they did naturally. When my trusted practitioner told me last year that I might be better off speaking with a surgeon about the lower half of my face, I really thought there might be merit in that advice. I organised 3 consultations, of which George was the first. Immediately, even though I didn't know exactly what I wanted, he was able to guide me through my thoughts and show to me the areas that detract from the overall aesthetics of my face. I really appreciated his ability to be honest and explain exactly what he saw - as this put words and meaning to emotions that I felt. He then of course was able to explain what his surgical plans of action would be, ensuring that it made sense and was suitable for me. I went away feeling fully informed and supported, which allowed me to gather my thoughts for the next consultation with a different surgeon. Lian, his secretary, was always easy to contact to organise things - and kept me up-to-date by email automatically. ' At that next appointment, I unfortunately didn't receive the same level of detail, care or understanding. The suggestions were similar to what Dr Orfaniotis had said, but with none of the personable interaction that truly made it feel like you could trust him implicitly with what he was suggesting. I organised a second consultation with George at this point, having a couple of weeks between each to think about things. What really impressed me is that George was able to listen to what the other surgeon had suggested - explain to me why some procedures were not suitable for me, or wouldn't achieve what he thinks is best for me - and also incorporate one of the suggestions he hadn't thought of himself, as he agreed it would actually offer further improvement to his intended procedure. This really showed to me how well he listened, and was in no rush to get me to the procedure, making sure that we were in total agreement beforehand. I went away then knowing that he would be my surgeon. A few weeks before, I met with Dr Hanieh Asadi over zoom, who explained that she provides the pre and post care contact for George, and that she would remove my stitches for me and check the wounds 1 week after surgery. She was easy to contact anytime by email or phone if I had any questions, and I really liked this additional angle of support surrounding a surgical procedure. She is an expert when it comes to scar care and healing, and nutritional health and fitness advice both before and after the operation. The procedure itself was quick and easy, just a couple of hours. I was well prepared and everyone at the Cadogan Clinic were exceptional in their roles. The nurses and anaesthetist especially went out of their way to provide a calm experience. My recovery went exactly as expected and how it had been explained to me prior. I followed all instructions but never hesitated to call or email Lian or Dr Asadi if I had any concerns or questions. Anything I'd asked was always answered either immediately or within several hours. At the stitch removal, everything was healing well and there were no concerns. I went back to work after two weeks. The most discomfort was in the liposuction areas, which was to be expected. Facially, there was barely any discomfort. Even after two weeks swelling had reduced enough that I looked almost normal back at work. I saw George face to face for a check-up just under 4 weeks after the procedure. It was great to see him and express my delight at the results so far, and to see equally how pleased he was with his work and the improvements it'd made for me. He is really dedicated and invested in every patient and it shows. Despite everything going absolutely perfectly - I did develop a minor complication with the lip lift scar directly under my nose. This happened between 6-8 weeks after the procedure. I noticed it was sore when massaging, and there was a small prominence looking a bit like a couple of spots or blisters. This was right at the join of the nose columella and the top lip. I emailed Dr Asadi and sent photos through - that same day she had discussed this with George and got me a prescription for an ointment. This was posted to me within 2 days. I used it for 1 week and emailed further pictures after this time. Dr Asadi then called me again to say that Dr Orfaniotis would rather see me in person to assess the area. Just 3 days after that phone call I had an appointment scheduled for me in London to see him face to face again. This was all made so easy between the 3 of them (Lian on the secretary side), and I couldn't fault the level of care in any way. At this appointment, George simply removed an offending piece of stitching which my body was reacting to as it hadn't disappeared on its own. This was just last week, now, 6 days on the area is pretty much already healed and looks perfect. I cannot recommend enough Dr Orfaniotis and his team, he tells you that the exceptional care continues after the procedure, and this is certainly true. I look forward to seeing him again for my 4 month check up! I have recommended several people and family members to him for consultation, and I would certainly see him again in the future. A further note is necessary I feel about his scar work. I didn't have any concerns about my nose, but George said that since he would be using the existing scar from my previous nose job for my lip lift, he could probably improve the definition of the nostrils and nasal sill. WOW, did he ever! It looks like I've had another perfecting nose job as a secondary side-effect of the procedure. His eye for facial aesthetics is undeniable and the balance he's created for me is truly a work of art. Thank you for everything Dr Orfaniotis, and thank you to your entire team.

I had a lip lift with Dr. Orfaniotis and was absolutely delighted with my result. The procedure has given more definition to my upper lip and the subtle change of proportion has rejuvenated my face. Dr. Orfaniotis was honest and realistic in what he would be able to achieve with the surgery. I felt very reassured by his professional and friendly manner. The surgery was carried out at the medical suite in the Shard, London. Everyone involved, including Dr. Orfaniotis’s secretary, Lian and the nurses and staff were all great.
