I had suffered tremendous pain and swelling in my neck for two months and seen many Doctors and taken five courses of strong antibiotics but it was Mr Ganapathy Dhanasekar who on seeing me at his clinic took positive and correct action and referred me to Grimsby Hospital for a operation to be performed. This released the pressure and the pain eased. Very nice bedside manner. Easy to talk to and explains things in a simple way.

My experience was really excellent. I Found Dr Dhanasekar to be very pleasant and he explained clearly everything that he was going to do when he carried out the procedure. However, I do feel the waiting time to be given the results could be improved upon as the time delay in finding out the results did cause both myself and my family a great deal of anxiety whilst waiting for the outcome.

Mr Dhanasekar has done a brilliant procedure on my nose. I had suffered with nosebleeds and other issues with infections, Mr Dhanasekar organise for me to have CT scan on my sinuses which showed a large mass on my left side. Full explanation of all treatment and medication. Very polite and calm which puts you at ease. Passionate about his job and keen to give that knowledge to the patient if required/asked. Actually sits, listens and takes time to hear what you have to say and then explains if you have any concerns or will politely correct you within the correct knowledge, again putting you at ease. Only confirms finishing of any consultation period when the patient is also happy and has no further concerns. Will pass you on to other medical experts if required when he has covered all avenues available to him if required.

I underwent removal of half my thyroid gland which was the first major op I've had.
