Mr Fahd Khan is a Consultant Urological Surgeon working at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS trust. Mr Khan has a broad general urology practice and subspecialises in ureteteroscopic management of stones, BPH and Men's Health.
Mr Khan completed his higher surgical training in Urology in the Yorkshire rotation based at Leeds. He received the prestigious BAUS/WCE Endourology fellowship, where he gained extensive experience in minimally invasive surgical management of complex stone disease.
With a wide range of surgical skills and expertise, Mr Khan is able to manage general and malignant urological conditions. He sees patients with a range of symptoms, including lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), urinary tract infections (UTI), testicular lumps and testicular pain, blood in the urine (haematuria), semen (haematospermia), incontinence, erectile dysfunction and bladder pain.
Working closely with all his patients, Mr Khan provides a holistic, patient-centric approach to surgery. He listens to the needs of every patient, and provides the clear explanations and thorough information needed to support people in choosing the right treatment options for them.

Mr Khan dealt thoroughly with my issues and suggested some improvements in treatment that proved most effective. His ability to communicate complex medical issues was particularly good.

Starting Methenamin has changed my life. I have been suffering from UTI’s and the pain of UTI’s for over 25 years. Dr Fahd Khan has been amazing. This condition has left me getting up 10 times per night when in a flare up. The pain and urge to go to the toilet being unbearable. I have been prescribed strong pain killers just so I can get through the day. Many GP’s have been incredibly dismissive (these have all been male doctors), one even going so far to say I was lying about the Urethral Dilations I have had (I have had 7). Dr Khan is considerate and more informed than any previous Specialist I have spoken to. And over the course of 25 years, you can imagine there has been a lot. Thank you Dr Kahn. Let’s hope this medication is widely available and GP’s are made aware of this condition much more than they are at present.

Fahd Khan is a specialist fellowship trained consultant stone surgeon in Birmingham. As a consultant urologist he is expert and assessing and managing most issues related to mens’ health. He’s a good doctor, kind and thorough. I wouldn’t hesitate asking him to see my friends and family for an opinion.
