Dr Manos Damigos is a consultant specalist in obstetrics and gynaecology. He practices at Darlington Memorial Hospital as well as at BMI Woodlands Hospital. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, in office gynaecology, and in colposcopy and oncology.

Dr Damigos underwent his postgraduate training in the North East of England, completing rotations in the major teaching hospitals in the area. He complete a clinical fellowship in laparoscopic hysterectomy, as well as a research fellowship into early pregnancy and ultrasound assessment, at King's College Hospital, in London. During this time he developed his skills in ultrasound scanning of the female pelvis. He is a member of British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy, the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy, the British Society of Colposcopy and cervical pathology. In addition he is fully accredited by the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists to perform various keyhole and hysteroscopic procedures as well as gynaecological ultrasound.

Mr Damigos prides himself on providing evidence based and tailored care to his patients. He is able to help women with a wide range of gynaecological problems such as heavy or painful periods, pelvic pain, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, menopause, PMS, and vulval disorders
