Mr David Lawrie is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Aberdeen with over 15 years of experience. He is a Member of the Aberdeen Orthopaedic Network, seeing private patients at Albyn Hospital. Mr Lawrie specialises in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery.
Upon graduating with his medical degree from the University of Aberdeen in 1997, Mr Lawrie then completed his general orthopaedic training on the North of Scotland Orthopaedic training rotation. Mr Lawrie subsequently undertook two Advanced Hand Fellowships at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby, in 2008. He is a full member of the British Society of Surgery of the Hand and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2007.
