Mr Daren Francis

Mr Daren Francis is a leading Consultant Surgeon specialising in laparoscopic, colorectal, and general surgery. He currently holds an NHS position at the Royal Free London Foundation Trust where he is the Lead for Emergency Surgical Services and Colorectal Cancer Services. Additionally, he practices privately with HCA Healthcare at The Harley Street Clinic and The Wellington Hospital. The talented surgeon offers robotic surgery treatments for rectal cancer and prolapse, along with minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. In 2013, Mr Francis was named in the Tatler Doctors Guide as one of the top 250 doctors in the UK.

After completing his Medical Degree and specialist training he was appointed Consultant in 2005. He is heavily involved in medical education, lecturing at all levels and has had numerous publications throughout his career. He has also been a guest speaker at international level conferences and offers educational seminars for other healthcare professionals. In addition, Mr Francis is the surgical advisor to the BAFTA-winning BBC soap 'Holby City', along with other independent productions.
