Mr David Williamson is a respected Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a wealth of experience in both general orthopaedics and trauma, and more specifically in foot and ankle surgery. He has particular interest and skills in treating patients with minimally invasive techniques, and with considerable care for the individual needs of each patient.

He qualified from the Oxford University Medical School and completed basic surgical training in Bath, before undertaking his specialist Orthopaedic training at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. Further trauma training was at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Mr Williamson was Director of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department in Swindon for 5 years, and leader of the national Surgical Team of the Year in 2006.

He is a widely published author of research articles into the treatment of complex foot injuries.
