Mr Lawrence is a fellowship trained Shoulder & Elbow Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Chelmsford. His main areas of interest are arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery for recurrent instability and impingement syndrome, rotator cuff tears, and frozen shoulder as well as acromioclavicular joint problems and shoulder joint replacement.

Christopher also has an interest in elbow surgery including tennis and golfers elbow and ulna nerve release, plus minor hand surgery including carpal tunnel decompression.

Mr Lawrence continues to have an interest in teaching, having been awarded an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented nationally and internationally on research related to shoulder surgery as well as co-authored a book chapter.
