Went to see Mr Christopher Gooding on recommendations by my son in law, who had both his hips replaced by him with great success. My experience for a total right knee replacement is very positive. After nearly 6 weeks of the operation I am walking without pain- relief!

Mr Gooding was knowledgeable, polite, kind, and thoughtful. He was clear in explaing the procedure, and is very aware of the latest procedures through research, and practice. Am sure I was afforded the latest procedures, as the pain I anticipated did not really eventuate. The operation and post-surgery period of time were relatively pain free, considering the type of operation it was. Mr Gooding was perceptive overall, and has followed up into the future which is very reassuring. Principally though, he's an excellent surgeon which is the most important thing.

Very professional, asked questions and listened in detail to build a picture of my issue. Explained my MRI and X-Ray's very well and showed what the issues were with my knee. Ultimately has referred me to a soft tissue specialist, but I was very happy with my consultation with Mr Gooding.

Pleasant manner with sufficient information but sensitive to my needs — e.g. I didn’t want too much detail before the procedure! Thorough consultation treating me as an intelligent human being. Good advice andencouragement Excellent overall care

Mr Gooding was very friendly and helpful. Explained the cause of my hip pain and treatment options. He was very professional and I am pleased that the steroid injection seems to have resolved the issue.
