After a couple of catastrophic surgeries on my stomach I was so apprehensive and worried of having surgery for several incisional hernias which included stomach reconstruction by Mr West. My stomach pre surgery was an awful sight to behold but I’m delighted to say that the end result is absolutely amazing and I cannot praise and thank Mr West enough. I was treated with kindness, professionalism and everything was explained thoroughly throughout.

From the start of my experience up until now, nearly nine weeks post op has been extremely positive in all ways. I had an initial telephone consultation followed by further face to face meeting and 2nd consultation. I found Christian West to be very understanding of my needs at all times and listened to what outcome I wanted as well a providing me with a full and frank explanation of what to expect and pros and cons of my surgery. I had a breast implant removal and replacement and at this moment in time am very happy with the outcome whilst still having some healing time to go. I know during this time I am able to contact Christian and/or his secretary Kerrie should I have any concerns or queries. I have a follow up appointment booked for July. After a botched punch biopsy on the bridge of my nose I was left with a large circular scar of thin dark skin which filled with keratin and had also increased in diameter over subsequent years. I returned to the NHS hospital that done the punch biopsy to ask if they could repair my scar. Their response was inconclusive. They may be able to repair the scar but they could also make it worse. Their conclusion was that they should monitor it! I was put in touch with Mr. West through my local Spire hospital. Mr. West was confident that he could repair this large keratin filled scar and leave me with an indiscernible, discreet scar. Mr. West repaired my scar in February 2023 and as promised, I have been left with the tiniest of scars, about the width of a cotton thread. To the untrained eye there does not appear to be any scarring. I am 100% satisfied. Mr. West was very informative, telling me what was involved, what the likely result would be and also how to care for my nose after his procedure.

Once meeting Mr West he reassured me, kept me updated of the process and post surgery I am delighted. I felt totally at ease with Mr West.

My treatment/care with Dr West was excellent. From start to finish, communication was great, and he was clear and honest about the procedure and what to expect.
