In my experience as an emergency patient ,I found Mr Bob Chatterjee to have the all the qualities and communication skills that I would expect of an excellent physician . As a psychologist working in medical education ,I was delighted and surprised to find these in a surgeon .It was very reassuring to be listened to with patience, to be informed about the extent of my injury, know of my options for treatment and to be treated with compassion .

Mr Chatterjee was absolutely amazing, he was kind and patient and explained everything really clearly. I had complete confidence in him and he transformed my life when he removed the facet joint cyst on my spine which was blighting my existence.

Bob is one of the nicest and warmest specialists I have ever met, and just from reading up on him and reading his reviews, you can tell that he is at the top of his game. Apart from his skills as a surgeon and his expertise, he is a lovely, honest guy who obviously cares a lot about his patients. I ended up having a C3/C4 fusion and am still only 3 weeks post-surgery, but so far, I’m impressed with how well I have recovered. I started driving 2 weeks after the surgery, and the incision has healed quite nicely.

I found Mr Chatterjee to be a warm and caring doctor, who goes the extra mile for his patients. When after discussing my spine, I asked him for a medical opinion on my leg due to a recent accident, he didn't limit himself to telling me that it was not his specialty, but went ahead and made sure I got an appointment to see the relevant doctor that same day. In addition, he followed up to enquire about my progress. Lovely man and very knowledgeable. I feel I am in good hands with him.

I visited Mr. Chatterjee to investigate my hip, neck and lower back pains. He made me feel very comfortable during both of our sessions (pre and post MRI). He spent a lot of time explaining the cause of my symptoms and the available options (on a non-invasive basis). I would highly recommend him.
