Procedure was explained well during consent. However one comment I found inappropriate - when asking if I was having sedation, he called me "chicken" and said he had the procedure himself without sedation and knew it would be uncomfortable. I have never been admitted to hospital or had any procedures in the past including never even having a cannula, so I was quite anxious about the day and felt sedation would help me feel more comfortable. However I was made to feel the opposite. As a doctor (paediatrician) myself, I found this approach unprofessional and not what I would expect from a colleague. During the procedure, I did not have any concerns.

Rude and passive aggressive in not wanting to sedate me. Refused and only when I broke down in tears he gave it to me despite my original surgeon telling me they would need to sedate me. He gave me so little that I woke immediately in agony. He was forced to give me gas and air and it has left me traumatised. He then had to abandon the procedure as a result.

Mr Hamade He was very charming, I felt completely relaxed with him and his team I had never had anything done before so was quite anxious but there was no need once I met him I felt confident it was going to be ok. He and his team were very friendly and funny I actually enjoyed my experience as funny as that sounds and that was all due to the team and no side effects/issues or problems since coming home Thankyou
