Mr Bandal was very kind and efficient. My operation went like clockwork and I felt very comfortable and cared for.

Mr Bansel performed cataract surgery on my left eye, which had moderate stage cataract and also very short sighted. During consultations Mr. Bansal was very polite and professional. He listened carefully and examined my eyes thoroughly. He explained the procedure and answered all my questions clearly and in full. I am very pleased with the outcome which was better than I expected. My left eye is now near perfect vison. I can recommend Mr Bansal to anyone considering cataract surgery.

From start to finish Mr Atul Bansal has been absolutely wonderful! He has worked really hard to control my ongoing struggle with Glaucoma and constantly re assured me along the way. His calm and reassuring bedside manner does him credit! Especially as I have experienced some anxiety and depression during my journey with glaucoma.. Mr Bansal is always polite and has always been happy to answer any questions during my treatment and monitoring. Mr Bansal has also always been very quick in replying to email queries and liaising with my own GP!

I'm an ardent supporter of the NHS. However, I would have had to wait over 2 years for NHS cataract surgery, so decided to self fund for the first time. I've had my right eye cataract operation, and my left is Friday 14th January. How does the song go? "I can see clearly now......." Honestly, my right eye vision is now better than 20/20. I have documentary evidence to prove it. Colours are brighter, and the sky is blue. Roll on Friday. I took advantage of applying for a BMI card. Both ops will be paid for within 12 months using interest free credit. Aftercare is fantastic. Here's one example. I had a minor issue with my drops protocol, so emailed Mr Bansal's secretary's with a copy to Mr Bansal. To my surprise, Mr Bansal phoned me twice, and emailed me a lengthy solution. Thank you Mr Bansal. Look forward to seeing you Friday.

Mr Bansal went to great lengths to ensure I made the correct choice of lens to have inserted after removing an advanced cataract in my right eye. He provided two comprehensive booklets explaining the full procedures involved in the operation and, in great detail, the full range of lenses available. During appointments he made sure that I understood fully the advantages and possible disadvantages of each type of lens. He personally checked my previous eye history to make sure there would be no complications with the operation or with my final choice of lens. As a result I had every faith in his ability and had no apprehension about the operation. I am delighted with the results of my first eye treated and will no longer need to wear glasses for reading, middle or far distance sight.

Left eye cataract operation. Optician told me minor cataracts but it is effecting night vision for driving. So informed Mr Bansal that my main reason for operation was distance for driving The outcome was so much more than I expected Very Shortsighted and have been wearing glasses for 72 years from the age of 5 example - Swimming Pool no idea where my Mates were - Beach got lost as a child when coming back from the sea. Left eye now - can see unaided for more than the required 25 yards easily and will need new glasses especially for reading Can wait for my second operation on right eye - 2 weeks time. One more thing The operation - scared to death of course - during the operation - nurse held my hand it was so reassuring
