Dr Arun is a Consultant Audiovestibular Physician & Clinical Lead at Harley Street Audiovestibular Clinic, and in the NHS at one of the UK's largest Audiovestibular medicine units. Audiovestibular Physicians are highly trained medical doctors specialising in the ear and its connections to the brain and wider body.
With a special interest in dizziness, vertigo & vestibular disorders, he has gained huge experience having treated thousands of patients. His research interests include vestibular migraine and Persistent-Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD). He also sees patients with hearing loss & tinnitus for medical investigations and advising on management.
Following qualification from the Royal Free & University College London Medical School, Dr Pajaniappane initially trained in ENT surgery (otolaryngology), successfully obtaining relevant qualifications (MRCS & DOHNS). He then further trained in Audiovestibular Medicine, obtaining a Master's degree in Audiovestibular Medicine with Merit. He now also holds relevant physician qualifications (MRCP London).
Dr Pajaniappane is a big advocate for vestibular disorders and patients. He has written multiple book chapters and published papers on hearing and vestibular disorders. He is regularly invited to lecture at national and international level, and actively engages in research in this area.
