It was apparent at my first consultation with Mr Gambhir that obviously he is extremely knowledgeable surrounding the anterior hip replacement procedure and was easily able to explain very clearly the options, impacts, risks and benefits. He was happy to answer my questions concerning the anterior full hip replacement process. He easily combines a very professional manner with an ability to put potential patients at ease. His easy manner combined with professionalism and deep knowledge inspires confidence and great trust. The operation has been a great success and the support and follow up has been excellent. I would like to thank his entire team and hospital staff for their care and help during the pre and post operative period including his PP Secretary, Angela Webster, who was always available and facilitated my hip replacement journey efficiently and smoothly.

Mr Gambhir inspires confidence; from the very beginning he was forthright with respect to the likely outcomes of my total knee replacement surgery. He, the surgical team and nursing staff at Euxton Hall all performed impressively professionally and yet with care. I was encouraged to work on mobility almost immediately after the operation, and at this point in my recovery (some 4.5 weeks on) feel that I am making good progress. In part this is also due to the intensive fitness effort I put in before the date of surgery. As MR Gambhir predicted, the pain I had been suffering prior to surgery almost disappeared over night, and it is now incumbent upon myself to work hard on restoring mobility of the new knee joint. So far I am very satisfied with the surgical and post op regime supervised by Mr Gambhir, and count myself fortunate that he performed the operation.

From my initial consultation I was made to feel relaxed and at ease. The explanations re my diagnosis and potential operation were very clearly explained to me including the risks. I was given plenty opportunities to ask questions and these were clearly answered. I felt very confident to proceed with the planned hip replacement and am now making a good recovery. I felt I received the best possible treatment from Mr Gambhir throughout my journey and would like to thank him most sincerely for his pleasant manner and professionalism.

The overall process from diagnosis to the outcome of the procedure has exceeded my expectations. I am extremely grateful for the quality of normal life which the operation has given me.

Had my right hip resurfaced by Anil Gambhir on 5th July 2019. Quicker recovery than my left hip, which was fixed in 2005. I now have pain free, fully functioning hips again. Excellent service. Thanks.

Today marks the anniversary of an important date in my personal life and wellbeing: the sixth anniversary of the operation that you conducted to replace my right hip. Not a week has since gone by without me feeling(and often expressing to others) my enormous gratitude to yourself and your team at Wrightington for your great skill and for the excellent medical care that I received. And now, as this anniversary arrives, I feel it's about time I told you too of my appreciation! The operation rejuvenated me by giving me back the ability to pursue once again, without pain or significant restriction, actions and activities that my younger self had taken for granted. In these times, when everyone is aware of the huge pressures and challenges faced by all who work in our health service, please accept my deepest admiration and gratefulness for the wonderful treatment that I received in your care at Wrightington.

I'm delighted with the outcome of my operation and feel indebted to Mr. Gambhir and his team for the exceptional levels of service and care I received.
