A fantastic experience and would highly recommend. I had an injury to my pectoral major two years ago, as a result of a gym injury on the bench press. Mr Tambe requested that I have an MRI scan to confirm diagnosis and to see whether surgery was worthwhile. During my follow-up consultation, Mr Tambe explained that surgery would not be recommended, as my pectoral major tendon had a 4cm tear, but despite this scar tissue had developed which was of a good quality. This meant that surgery was probably not worthwhile when weighing up the pros and cons. Mr Tambe was open, honest and transparent. He showed compassion during my consultations and offered some excellent advice. He is one of the best consultants I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Mr Tambe was attentive with regards to my expectations and explained the disadvantages and advantages of surgery but most of all provided me with the assurance that surgery was a good option with regards to being active again.

    Explanation (5/5)
Overall a great experience, and I cannot recommend Mr Tambe enough. I had sustained a double rupture of the Pectoral Major Muscle, and getting this fixed sooner rather than later was my main concern, as this provided the best possible outcome (ideally within 3 weeks of the injury occurring). I was not able to meet with Mr Tambe until 2 weeks of the injury occurring, and my physio felt that I had done something serious. So I left a message for Mr Tambe to see whether he could arrange a MRI scan for me before I had my appointment with him. Mr Tambe quickly arranged for me to have an ultrasound scan on the day of my appointment with him, and the scan confirmed my worst fear. Mr Tambe made a point of getting to know me, and my lifestyle, so that he was best placed, to discuss the best options with me, along with clearly highlighting the risks, and the rehabilitation period. We agreed surgery would be the best option for me, but i was worried given Mr Tambe's busy schedule , and the 3 week point was fast approaching. Anyhow, to my astonishment Mr Tambe and his team carried out the surgery within a few days of me seeing him. Finally, I am so thankful to Mr Tambe and his team, for making the time to fit me into their busy schedule, and will be forever grateful.
