“I am very grateful to Mr Anand. i sustained three osteoporotic fractures in my spine after tripping on the pavement. I was in such severe pain. My local NHS hospital gave me painkillers and a corset, yet i was unable to move around because of such sharp pain in my spine for weeks. I met Mr Anand through the recommendation of my physiotherapist. Mr Anand performed a 3 level balloon kyphoplasty in my spine. The results have been quite dramatic. My pain settled very soon after the operation. I am now able to live my life again. Mr Anand took great care of me, very kind and the hospital staff were amazing. “

I am delighted with the treatment i received from Mr Anand. Mr Anand treated me for my neck and arm pain which had been bothering me for an entire year. He performed a targeted cervical nerve root injection in my neck. My neck and arm pain settled with a few days. I am still pain-free 4 months on. A very knowledgeable consultant. He explained everything exceptionally well, in a very friendly and easy to understand manner. I would highly recommend Mr Anand.

I would like to truly thank Mr Anand for giving me back my life. I had been suffering with debilitating low back since 1994 after by hit by a car. I was told that I had a degenerative back with facet disease. I had seen 3 previous spinal consultants over the last 25 years, pain specialists, numerous physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths. I had been given various injections and denervation procedures, yet my life was on halt due to the severe pain. I was finally introduced to Mr Anand through a friend that Mr Anand had previously treated. He was very kind and listened to my long pain history. I felt reassured having met him. After organising a MRI and a SPECT scan, Mr Anand felt that some of my pain was coming from my sacroiliac joint. After performing a diagnostic injection, he later went on to perform a minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusion. It is now 6 months since i underwent this operation with Mr Anand. I can honestly say that my whole life has changed for the better. I am just so pleased. I no longer have that intrusive pain or giving out feeling in my back. I have stopped using morphine patches. I am now able sit and sleep without pain. I am just so thankful and glad to have met this amazing man.

I underwent a microdiscectomy by Mr Anand. The operation was a complete success. My low back and leg pain settled post-op. After suffering so much for 3 years, i wish i had met Mr Anand sooner. A very pleasant man, kind and explains quite complex issues very simply. I was very impressed by him and his staff.

I saw Mr Amarjit Anand. He was knowledgeable and personable, and able to explain my conditions clearly. I felt I was in capable hands from my initial consultation through to the operation itself, and therefore had no concerns prior to, during, or post the procedure. I have made a excellent post-op recovery

Having suffered significant back pain and difficulty in walking for some time I was diagnosed with spinal L3/L4 stenosis in early 2009. Since then my condition has slowly deteriorated to the point where my walking distance was very limited and with a pronounced stoop. In August 2017 I was referred to Mr Anand. Following an MRI scan it was discovered that my condition had spread to include L3/4 and L4/5. After consulting with Mr Anand, I was recommended that surgery was the best option. Never having had any surgery before, I was naturally anxious. Following my consultation with Mr Anand, I was reassured. He took care to outline the possible risks which he documented in detail. Nine weeks on from surgery my life has already dramatically improved. I can walk and stand for extended periods with little inconvenience even with further rehabilitation to go. I take this opportunity to thank Mr Anand for the excellent care I received and the new lease on life he has provided me.

I was very pleased with the outcome of my surgery! Considering it was the second surgery for me, the previous one done by another consultant. There could have been a few problems as advised by Mr Anand, my recovery was straight forward with no complications! Complete success. Mr Anand explained everything very clearly and I did just what he advised! He took good care of me and I was out the next day. He said at my 8 week check up that I had made excellent progress. He is such a lovely man and I am very grateful to him for his excellent care and his team for looking after me so well!

I would like to sing the praises of Mr Anand! After unfortunate circumstances and being let down by two consultants, I eventually met Mr Anand. By this time I was in great pain from my lower spine and right hip and struggling to walk. After a consultation with Mr Anand, I very soon had a date for my operation. It went ahead with total success but was only successful because of the observation, knowledge and dedication to do the utmost for his patients. The cause was a minuscule piece of boney growth that was hidden from his view, which was causing the nerve to be trapped. Six months ago I told him that he was my hero. Even now, I say thank you every day for being completely out of pain. he is still my hero! I feel so very lucky to have met this man!

I had my SIJ fusion with you on June 5th 2017. I just wanted to say to you that i can now say, without any doubt whatsoever, the operation was 100% worthwhile. I am without doubt more pain free and mobile than before the op and for many many years. I just wanted to thank you for believing me and listening to me and doing this op!
