Great communication and very reassuring.

After consulting with my GP for over 2 years with an acute pain and lump in my groin, I was completely misdiagnosed over all this time. Mr Aman Bhargava, MB BS FRCS (Gen Surgery) at Spire Roding was highly recommended to me by a friend. On my first consultation with Mr Bhargava, he examined me and explained I had an Inguinal hernia, and he would carry out a laparoscopic procedure, explaining fully all the pro’s and con’s. I received thorough tests prior to the op, and was greeted upon admission with kindness and competence from all the reception staff and nurses. After the pro op tests, and into the theatre, the anaesthetist was most kind and also explained the procedure in great detail. After maybe two hours following the op, I was awake and able to leave the hospital. I was provided with telephone numbers and information if I had any problems. On my final consultation with Mr Bhargava, he examined me and was happy with the results. I was given a pictorial presentation of my femoral/inguinal hernia repair. The hernia had started to strangulate and fibrous tissues was pulled out of my bowel. I was told that I could have ended up in A&E had I not acted sooner. In conclusion, I am feeling thoroughly fit and well. I can thoroughly recommend Mr Bhargava for his outstanding excellent manner and professionalism. I cannot praise him enough. Mr Bhargava has been amazing the last few months whilst I went through two operations. He explained things so well and made me feel as if I was in safe hands. He made sure I was always comfortable and I am now fully recovered thanks to all his help!

Aman has been looking after me for four years since I became ill with stage 3 rectal cancer.He has a superb bed side manner explaining fully what is wrong how he will medically intervene and the way ahead.He is always so calm and I have total confidence in him.I note also that his nursing support team not only like him but very importantly respect him.
