About
Mr Ibrahim is a highly qualified Consultant Neurosurgeon based in London, UK. He has over 22 years of clinical experience and over 6 years of specialist experience in neurosurgery. During these years he developed specialist interests in both simple and complex spinal procedures.
He completed his medical degree at St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1999. He later became a member of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and of Edinburgh in 2003. He then became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Neurosurgery in 2013. He also trained abroad, completing a Spinal Fellowship Diploma at the University of Toronto, Canada in 2014 and a Travelling Fellowship with the Cervical Spine Research Society Europe in 2015.
Mr Ibrahim was chosen for the travelling fellowship as the only surgeon from the UK and 1 of 2 from Europe to join a group of 6 international fellows. These fellows travelled internationally to visiting leading spinal units in Canada and the USA.
His post-qualification training allowed him to further advance his skills and knowledge in complex spine surgeries.

Outside of the clinic, Mr Ibrahim carried out research surrounding the use of stem cells to repair nerves following spinal cord paralysis. These findings, among others, were published in renowned peer-reviewed journals, featured in BBC 2's Horizon's and in the Sunday Times.
Mr Ibrahim has won a number of international awards for his work in the management of spinal conditions, including the prestigious Crockard Prize awarded by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons/Congress of Neurological Surgeons. Mr Ibrahim's research surrounding cervical spine conditions was also awarded best resident/fellow paper by the North American Cervical Spine Research Society in 2014.
