Mr. Adam Way is a consultant spinal surgeon who specialises in treating patients with neck and back problems. After qualifying, he undertook his orthopaedic surgical training at Barts and the Royal London Hospital, spending 2 years in the spinal unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, and a further year doing an advanced spinal fellowship.
He routinely uses a microscope and minimally invasive techniques for spinal degenerative, trauma and tumour work. These skills assist patients with their rehabilitation and also reduce their length of stay in hospital.
Mr. Way is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons. He has written papers and presented nationally and internationally on spinal conditions, regularly lectures on spinal and trauma surgery, and is Membership Secretary of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons.
