About Mr Zaid Awad
Mr Zaid Awad is an Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) surgeon based in London. His NHS practice is based at Imperial Healthcare Charing Cross and St Mary's Hospitals. He is registered with all major insurance providers and is fee-assured, i.e. there is no extra charge beyond the insurance agreed tariff.

Mr Awad has also served as a member of the Specialty Advisory Committee in Otolaryngology, ENT UK Council, National Selection Committee for higher surgical training, the Intercollegiate Examination Board and the Joint Committee of Surgical Training simulation work group.
He has been awarded 22 prizes for his work, published more than 60 research articles and is a reviewer for leading ENT journals.

Mr Zaid removed an inflamed tonsil remnant/lesion by robotic assisted surgery which had been causing me pain for a long time. I felt like I was in safe and experienced hands for my procedure. Everything was very professional with great care, explanation and empathy. I had a clear idea of what to expect before, during and after my procedure. I didn't feel quite as positively about the Anaesthetist on the day. A few days into my recovery, Mr Zaid was in touch with results of my histology and I had a thorough follow-up appt 6 weeks later. The inflamed tonsil remnant had been causing referred eye pain via the Trigeminal nerve and I'm delighted to say the pain has now gone. I'm very happy with the result and all the care I received from Mr Zaid. 5 stars from me.

I approached Dr Awad on account of a recommendation from a friend who had nasal issues which were remediated following surgery undertaken by Dr Awad. When I first went into his clinic he very quickly found the root cause of my issue and helped me plan a treatment plan for it which included Septoplasty. Its now been 6 weeks since the operation and my breathing has improved significantly. I'm looking forward to seeing how the results improve my sleep, exercise and general day to day life.
