You carried out surgery on my left shoulder. I attended my final outpatient appointment today when one of your colleagues confirmed a successful outcome and discharged me. My purpose in writing is to thank you for bringing this situation about. Having had previous and unsuccessful operations on my shoulder I was pretty much resigned to life being permanently uncomfortable. However your clinical skills and expertise, together with those of your medical and nursing colleagues, has made an immense difference to the quality of my life. I am now free of pain and discomfort. Thank you for your time and the opportunity to benefit from your highly professional skills. They have made a substantial and very positive difference to my life.

I have received nothing but the best from Mr Monga, from walking into his consuting room, he explained exactly what had developed with my shoulder and how he was going to fix it, he took all my worries away , my operation went very well and I have recived excellent physiotherapy, I would highly recommend Mr Monga.

I was previously diagnosed with an AC Joint Separation, upon the first consultation with Dr Monga he quickly diagnosed by follow a few steps that my issue were definitely not related to AC Separation. From the 1st visit I had gained trust within Dr Monga & soon became aware of his knowledgably skills within the area of shoulder injuries. This was of high importance to me as I knew from the first consultant what my possible options would be. I found this gentleman to be an excellent professional in his knowledge of my condition. However I accept he is a consultant in this area & should therefore be knowledgeable. What I was impressed with was the manner of how he explained the various options & the pro / cons with every option. The expectation setting of next step – MRI Scan to confirm & identify anything else which might be causing issues. I believe Dr Monga went the extra mile to explain in the simplest way possible, he even drew diagrams / googled & allowed me to take picture onto my phone. Dr Monga followed up on every appointment & kept with the timescales agreed for the actual operation. I’m now in recovery & felt the need to provide this feedback!

Having had frozen shoulder surgery done in both left & right shoulders, I can honestly say that on both occasions the surgery was a success. I would highly recommend this type of treatment, and especially recommend Mr Monga as a surgeon.

Mr Puneet Monga was the most friendly / professional consultant I have had the pleasure of dealing with in regard to my shoulder operation, from start to finish Mr Monga took the time to explain to me in such a way it made it very easy for me to fully understand the injury I had sustained and the operation needed to rectify including the expected outcome following surgery. Mr Monga made what was a distressing time so much easier to manage due to his expertise / knowledge and concern in ensuring I received the very best of care from start to finish. I saw Mr Monga with regards to an ongoing shoulder problem. He took the time to explain things fully, including the cause of the pain, and all of the possible options with regards to treatment. I needed surgery and the treatment I received was fantastic. I was pain free following surgery, and my shoulder has now fully recovered. He is friendly, patient and has a great manner.
