He and his team undoubtably saved my life. I trusted him and felt very comfortable with all his treatment plans. He was very responsive to any communication requests I sent him and provided superb support and direction to the Barnet hospital staff when I was admitted over the Christmas holiday. He also ensured my wife was fully briefed on my condition at all stages of my hospital stay. I am actually slightly sad that I will (hopefully) not need to see him for another 2 years.

I have been under the care of Mr Mendoza for the last 2 years and in December 2020 I was admitted to Charing Cross hospital for major surgery. Throughout this period and despite the restrictions of Covid19 I have been particularly impressed by the care and total commitment Mr Mendoza has to his patients at any time of the day. Not only did he listen carefully to my attempt at explaining my symptoms but he quickly diagnosed my condition and took time to explain in detail, in a way I could understand, the medical procedure to resolve the issue. I was highly anxious before surgery especially after being advised of the possible complications of the procedure during the signing of the consent form. Mr Mendoza went through this process with me and was able to provide me with a sense of perspective in a realistic, compassionate and optimistic way. His confidence and obvious surgical ability relieved my fears and anxiety - I was almost looking forward to surgery !! In sum, throughout this experience a have always felt completely reassured and ‘in good hands’. I have seen Mr Mendoza’s dedication to his profession and his unfailing desire to make people as well as can be achieved. I was fortunate to have been steered in his direction and can now look forward to returning to work and a continuing normal life. Thank you.

I was happy with my consultation, which in the current COVID environment was via Zoom. Obviously it would have been better to be face to face where I could be examined.

Mr Mendoza came highly recommended by a friend who has a long term back problem. The initial consultation was brisk, inquiring and professional. His recommendation was that an immediate procedure was not necessary but the the condition would only deteriorate and to come back when it became intolerable, which it did. At the second consultation it was agreed that the procedure should go ahead. The initial procedure date had to be postponed due to Covid 19 ramifications but went ahead 10 days later on 12 December, with a two night recovery period in Charing Cross hospital. Post operation recovery has been straight forward and the debilitating pain has gone. The post op consultation was held on Zoom and was informative and supportive. Exercise is improving mobility and will be followed up as the gyms are allowed to re-open. As Mr Thomas, the husband, said " I have my wife back".
