Mr Jothy Kandasamy is a highly esteemed Consultant Neurosurgeon with expertise in both adult and paediatric neurosurgery. He completed his neurosurgery training in The Walton Centre and Alder Hey Children's Hospital. He also travelled to the USA to complete his advanced training in Weill Cornell University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York City.

Mr Kandasamy's ethos is to recommend patient-centred, non-operative management plans where possible. However, when surgery is essential, he focuses on the patient as an individual, using only the most surgically appropriate and minimally invasive techniques.

Mr Kandasamay is an active participant in national and international meetings and regularly contributes to collaborative neurosurgical research with colleagues across the globe including Europe, Asia and North America.
