No issues at all. By the time I came round and returned to my room it was too late for the consultant to see me or he had other patients- but he then called me first thing the next morning to explain how it went

My consultant is very down to earth when explaining and supportive and had other doctors comment on his high standard of work when they saw my knee. That is very assuring to have such a consultant who is looking after you. Great Consultant PS Please could you assist me on the hips and posture side, that is hurting me. I look forward to seeing him again in August I believe. I turned to Hani following a recommendation from another consultant due to several years of intense groin pain stemming from my hip which left me unable to live my life at the age of 30. Madolyn (his PA) was vital in assuring my appointments with Hani were booked in and keeping me up to date at all stages! Madolyn was on call, at all hours may I add and despite my desperation and hassling her with messages and questions regularly she showed so much love and care in each and every response. She made everything so easy for me that it was honestly like talking to a friend! Hani took the time to listen to my story, my history of hypermobility and understood the importance of me getting my life back on track. After requesting a second opinion to ensure a total left hip replacement was the only way and the right way to go… Hani had complete faith that I would indeed get my quality of life back as long as i was willing to listen and put in whatever hard work and determination required! From the very first consultation right to the very last, Hani has seen me at my very worst and now on route to my very best life! Nothing has been much for him, he explained everything simply and to the point without beating around the bush, No question was ever a silly question with Hani. He is honest and firm when required, but most importantly he listens, he has a level of empathy that I feel all consultants should have! My hip replacement went well and after following Hani’s instructions, 6 weeks post surgery, I am on route to getting my life back… one step at a time! I would highly recommend Hani to anyone who is looking for a transparent and caring surgeon or an honest second opinion! If he can’t help, he will do his upmost to find the right person who can! He is empathetic, passionate, helpful and the best consultant I have ever met. I guess all that’s left to say is, Thank you Hani, for giving me my life back, for listening and for not giving up on me! Thank you Madolyn for holding my hand throughout this journey and for all of the love and support you have shown me! You are a credit to Hani and his team!!
