Having never had surgery before, I was a very nervous patient. I found Mr Abdul-Jabar to be calm and reassuring throughout our pre-operation meetings. He took time to come and see me prior to surgery, always confident and never appeared rushed. The surgery itself was quick and far less traumatic that I had expected, the recovery has been amazing. Having compared my scar to friends, I can also say Mr Abdul-Jabar clearly a very highly skilled surgeon, my wound is incredibly neat. I would not hesitate to recommend him, or contact him again should the other hip need replacing.

Mr Abdul Jabar has been quietly reassuring and encouraging since our first meeting. He has been generous with full answers to all the (many) questions I have asked. My hip operation appears to have gone well in all respects and I am facing my on-going recovery with confidence.

Mr Abdul-Jabar recently operated on my knee. He was too the point, gave clear explanations and was a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent experience. I had the information needed to take the decision based on MRI scans and physical analysis. Don't jump immediately to surgery but when physio results weren't good the decision for surgery was fast. Very approachable through his excellent PA, Madolyn
