Mr. Abdul-Jabar has one of the best personalities I have encountered in a medical professional. He explains everything in a calm and concise manner, and puts a patient's mind at ease. Additionally, he also has a very good sense of humor and when facing something as serious as joint replacement surgery, he makes you feel at ease .

From our first meeting, I found Dr. Abdul-Jaber very clear and precise in explaining exactly what would be involved in a right hip replacement operation. He clearly wanted to find the correct implant that would suit my hip. His manner was always reassuring that things would go well, which indeed they did, but at the same time, firm in making me aware that exercises were required on my part to achieve a successful outcome. Madolyn, his PA, was always quick to respond back with any information we needed. Would highly recommend. I would also like to thank Ms Lorraine Kelly at the Clementine Churchill hospital in Harrow who was willing to arrange a combined meeting beforehand with all involved in my operation, Surgeon, Anaesthetist and other assistants so that we could ask further questions if needed. Mr Abdul-Jabar was very clear in the initial meeting about total knee replacement surgery - why it was needed, what the surgery did and what to expect afterwards. He was happy to answer all questions, honest about what to expect in terms of pain and recovery. The operation went well with a very good outcome for me and my ability to walk and move freely without pain. He was reassuring and supportive in the follow up meetings and again had time for questions. He made a complex process that I had been anxious about very straightforward for me.

I was very happy with the excellent ruin up to my hip replacement, explanations, attention and the final outcome. All pain has gone, I am walking well and some distance now. Absolutely excellent throughout.

Perfect! professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind from start to finish. Highly recommended. No question was too much, came to see me every day post-op. Any questions or concerns pre-op were patiently answered/explained. Special mention needs to go to his assistant who was equally kind, patient and attentive.
