The surgery carried out by Mr David Murray had an excellent outcome for me. I had Dupytrens Contracture in both hands. The pain in my left hand before surgery was constant. I now have straight fingers with a full range of movement. It has even given me more flexibility in my wrists too. I no longer suffer any pain in my hands or fingers. From the outset he was friendly, explained fully what he intended to do and the surgery involved. I cannot recommend this man highly enough, it's a 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you Mr Murray.

Superb clear communication throughout pre Op, during and post Op

Dr Murray always provided me with a detailed explanation of my condition and options for treatment. He is very compassionate, and has an excellent bedside manner, making me feel very well looked after.

Mr Murray was very personable and made me feel at ease throughout. He was very thorough explaining the procedure beforehand, and during surgery he was very reassuring. My procedure has been a success and am very grateful to me Murray for the positive experience.

Mr. Murray explained the procedure from the first initial consultation, and upon my arrival at the hospital prior to the procedure, the whole procedure was explained to me in detail. I felt that I was looked after extremely well by Mr. Murray and all the staff at Euxton Hall Hospital.

I recently had a second operation for Dupytrons Contracture under the care of Mr Murray. The first operation was a year ago. On both occasions Mr Murray ensured that I was well prepared for the procedure by explaining, in some detail, what was involved , the anticipated recovery regime (Physio, personal hand massage etc) and also what to expect in the future. I found this very reassuring and, as the first operation went as expected, I had great confidence in the outcome of the second one.

David is the most wonderful surgeon. I am over the moon with every element of my treatment. He explained in great detail exactly what he would be doing at every stage of treatment. As soon as the bandage was removed, it was obvious that the operation had been a great success and now, 7 weeks later, there is only a slight scar line and my finger is back to normal. Full movement was regained in under a month. I cannot recommend David highly enough.
