Mr Imber was utterly brilliant. He immediately put me at ease and reassured me that I was in safe hands. My operation went brilliantly and my recovery was swift and this is entirely down to Mr Imber’s skill. He was kind and personable and took time to explain what would happen before, during and after my operation. I cannot thank him enough.

I have nothing but positive things to say regarding Mr Imber. He allows you the space to ask many questions should you need to and his explanations/knowledge are outstanding & clear. Mr Imber really gives you the facts allowing you to make fully informed decisions while never making you feel pressured into having surgery. He is extremely empathetic and despite his long career as a surgeon he hasn’t lost the empathy that to the patient it’s a scary experience. I was concerned about scaring as I’m a young woman however Mr Imber managed to completely conceal my belly button incision almost like magic and the other 3 incisions are minimal/close to invisible and I’m only 3 weeks post op. My incisions had no weeping or infection either. Mr Imbers team are also exceptional. After my surgery Mr Imber checked on me multiple times and answered my questions. He’s a surgeon that will be there from start to finish. A surgeon you can really trust. Surgery is always scary however I found knowing Mr Imber would be there made me relax and know I was in safe hands due to his vast experience and trustworthy character. If I could turn back time I would still pick Mr Imber as my surgeon. Thank you Mr Imber & Team for helping me though a tough time & making things as smooth and comfortable as they could be.

Mr. Imber is truly a world class consultant and surgeon. His explanations of my procedure were patient and clear and he gave me a confidence in facing the surgery that allowed me to focus on recovery instead of the uncertainty ahead. I feel remarkably fortunate that Mr Imber was the surgeon who performed this complex surgery. Everything was explained to me in a way that was clear and easy to follow. Thereafter the excellent post-surgical care has meant that I have every confidence that I will improve day by day and that any issues that come up would be taken seriously and dealt with.

Charles Imber is extremely personable, has a great bedside manner, explained everything very clearly and was extremely efficient. I had my gall bladder removed by him with keyhole surgery. Went home the same day. Little pain. The wounds healed quickly and are now barely noticeable. As someone regularly performs 24 hour liver transplants, this no doubt was about as basic as it gets but I never got te impression that he treated my procedure with any less seriousness as he would something much more serious. I would highly recommend his and his team.
