Dr. Toma was very clear in describing how the process would go, and what to expect. I got the impression that he genuinely cares about his patients. He made sure to check in on me multiple times during the process to see how I was doing, which was nice because I got to hear about what he's looking for as it was happening.

Explanation

Following extensive research, Mr Toma's specialist experience in hydrocephalus and effusive peer recommendation were the principal drivers for initially consulting him privately regarding my wife's recurrent hydrocephalus some weeks after successful excision of a pineal tumour in July 2020. From our first meeting with Mr Toma, my wife and I felt relieved and comfortable to be in the care of an excellent specialist. The end-to-end experience has been of the utmost professionalism, from initial consultation to scans, tests and diagnosis. His warm, personal attention and kind approach was extremely welcome and made such a difference. My wife's recovery is now well underway, progressing slowly but surely toward a return to full normalcy, secure in the knowledge that should she need anything in the future, we can consult Mr Toma as required.
