Ms. Darly Mathew qualified from Christian Medical College Vellore.She subsequently underwent specialist training in training in London and Nottingham, and gained specialist accreditation in 2008 in Obstetrics and Gynaecology .She was was appointed as Consultant Gynaecologist at Chesterfield Royal Hospitals in 2010. She has introduced various service improvements and innovations to the department and is now the Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Cancer services.

She also provides high standards of Colposcopy services and effective Menopause Consultations. She is an expert in treating menstrual irregularities and provides excellent management for urinary problems in women. Outside her clinical work, Ms. Mathew offers surgical training programs to all levels of trainees.

She is actively involved in teaching and has been the member of the Local education training Board.

She is the main organizer for post graduate gynaecology courses DRCOG run by the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists.
