Miss Parmar is passionate about providing excellent clinical care for her patients. Miss Parmar is an NHS consultant in Ophthalmology at Milton Keynes University Teaching Hospital. She qualified in Medicine in 1998 from King's College in London. She further undertook her Specialist Training in Ophthalmology at premier training rotations including South Thames at St Thomas's Hospital and Higher Specialist Training at Moorfields Eye Hospital which is an internationally recognised centre of excellence.
Later on, she took two subspecialty Fellowships in Paediatrics and Strabismus, at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. She has over 20 years experience in Ophthalmology.
She participates in Clinical and Surgical training for Ophthalmologists. She is the Deputy Head for Special Senses at Buckingham Medical School. Additionally, she has established and run regional wet labs as a dedicated training exercise for the Oxford Deanery. Apart from taking on various training roles she is also involved with managerial roles currently performing as an Associate Medical Director at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
