Miss Bareen Shah is a Consultant Breast Surgeon based in London, UK. Following her graduation from Charing Cross Medical School she undertook her training on the Westminster surgical rotation before undertaking her specialist training in breast and endocrine surgery.
She is currently on the Section of Surgery Committee at the RSM and the ex-president of the Royal Society of Medicine’s clinical section. Miss Shah is a passionate teacher of both undergraduates and postgraduates and is a dedicated surgical teacher, more recently becoming a part of the Steering Group for surgery for the London Cancer Alliance.
She has a specialist interest in all aspects of thyroid and parathyroid surgery including dealing with complex recurrent disease and minimally invasive parathyroidectomy. She has an interest in early presentation and is responsible for running a rapid access diagnostic clinics at The London Breast 108 Harley Street, The Clementine Churchill hospital Harrow and The BUPA Cromwell Hospital.
Miss Shah is a keen gardener and cook. Miss Shah is a member of the ASGBI, RSM, ESSO, BAETS and The RCS.
Miss Shah's FRCS is from London and her undergraduate training was at Charing Cross Hospital.
