Miss Anca Marinescu is an ophthalmologist at a major NHS London eye hospital with a private practice at Skin55, Harley Street. She is able to manage a wide range of eye conditions from blepharitis to complex neurological disorders and uses the latest treatments available. Due to her 22 years of experience in the UK, Miss Marinescu often treats patients referred to her with unclear conditions. Miss Marinescu gained her primary medical degree at Carol Davila University of Medicine, Bucharest, in 1987 and went on to achieve a CCST in ophthalmology in Greece in 1997. She has a research background in medical retina and amblyopia, as well as specialist training in retinal diseases and cataracts. She has also been a clinical fellow in A&E, Primary Care and Cataract at the renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.

Miss Marinescu is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmologists, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and is the founding president of the Romanian Medical Society in the UK.
